New conference on congress tourism at Barcelona Activa

“MTC360 – Networking Space: meeting and congress tourism” is the title of the conference organised by Barcelona Activa, which is taking place on 22 April from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm.The visitor economy will be discussed at the event, including MICE events and their impact on employment. Key professional profiles will also be discussed, as well as the most highly demanded and those that will have the best career prospects in the future. The conference will include a networking session where different professionals from the sector can come together.
The programme is as follows:
-4.00 pm Welcome by Aida Nicolas, head of Career Guidance Services and Programmes at Barcelona Activa.
-4.05 pm. Employment trends in congress tourism: key figures from the sector, by Àngels Santigosa, head of the Studies Department in the Manager’s Office for Economy and Economic Promotion, Barcelona City Council.
-4.25 pm. Roundtable with companies and entities representing the sector.

–Carles Bordanaba, head of Sales, Events and MICE at Cal Blay.
