Call open for local projects for Manifesta 15

City Council. The deadline for presenting projects for the European Nomadic Biennial is 1 December.

The fifteenth edition of Manifesta, the European Nomadic Biennial, has launched a call for local projects in a wide range of disciplines to invite reflection on ecological challenges faced by cities. The deadline is 1 December, with the selected initiatives to be announced by the end of the year.

Manifesta, the European Nomadic Biennial, continues to move forward with the call for local projects that will be part of the event, which is being held in the Barcelona metropolitan area between September and November 2024.

The call is aimed at local stakeholders to take part with unconventional projects linked to the visual arts, ecology, theatre, architecture, social design, music, literature and other disciplines, helping to give shape to positive future visions of how to transform the metropolitan region in a sustainable way.

A national and international jury will check all the applications and select at least ten projects, which will receive funding of between 10,000 and 15,000 euros depending on their scale and complexity. The projects will be presented around the twelve organising cities during the biennial.

For more information on the call go to the Manifesta 15 website.

An online information session will be offered here on 24 October, at 6.30 pm.
