Regulated coach parking around the Magic Fountain

Tourism. To help with traffic calming and bringing order to traffic in the space during show days.

Tourist coaches will have to reserve their place and pay a parking charge at Montjuïc montain’s Magic Fountain, as of 13 July. The measure, which is provided for in the Tax Byelaw on regulated vehicle parking in public highways, aims to help with traffic calming and bringing order to traffic in this space during show days.

There will be a total of 65 parking places, which can be reserved through the Bus Zone website between 1 and 7 days in advance, and the parking charge will vary depending on whether it is for 1 or 2 consecutive shows. It will cost 20 euros to reserve for the first or second turn and 30 euros for both turns.

Places will be distributed as follows: 30 across Avinguda de Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia and further 5 along Avinguda de Rius i Taulet. Staff at the Bus Zone will be tasked with providing all the necessary instructions for coaches both before and after shows at the Magic Fountain.

In all cases the places will operate as a Bus Zone starting 30 minutes before the first show everyday. They will act as bus lanes (Avinguda de Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia) and parking lanes (Avinguda de Rius i Taulet) for the rest of the day.

The regulation will only be in force during the months when shows are planned at the Magic Fountain: from June to October and from the end of December to the end of march. You can see the full timetables here.
