Barcelona City Council produces a large body of reports and studies on the city’s economic reality. Monitoring and forecasting trends in the city’s economic activity and labour market help to define new strategic lines.
The Department of Studies in the Economy, Treasury, Economic Promotion and Tourism Area provides cross-sector support in different fields of economic promotion. The task of drawing up reports and conducting analyses is aligned with the Progress Plan, the economic strategy for Barcelona up to 2035.
