The Armand de Fluvià Casal Lambda Documentation Centre (CDAF) starts November with a change to its opening times. From 3 November, the new opening times will be:
Mondays: from 5 pm to 8 pm
Tuesdays: from 5 pm to 8 pm
Wednesdays: from 10 am to 1 pm
Thursdays: from 5 pm to 8 pm
Fridays: from 5 pm to 8 pm
The CDAF is on the second floor of the Barcelona LGBTI Centre and includes an extensive documentary collection (library, newspaper library and historical archives) relating to sexual, affective and gender diversity.
The Documentation Centre offers a reading room for study, research or professional purposes, in order to:
- Gather documentation on the subject of LGBTI that may be of interest for the LGBTIQA+ community, making it available to citizens.
- Establish contact and enable collaboration among individuals, entities and citizen initiatives that work towards normalising various aspects of the lives of LGBTI people.
- Develop publications and materials to train professionals and build awareness in society about sexual, affective and gender diversity.
- Promote and facilitate historic research and study about the rights of LGBTI people in the city of Barcelona and around the world.
