The Canòdrom – Ateneu d’Innovació Digital i Democràtica has resolved the quart procés obert de residències for the 2023-2024 academic year. Three projects linked to the areas of technology, science, and democracy have been classified by the jury and are incorporated into an ecosystem of collective creation and linkage with the territory. Join a living community that has shared with both vint-i-sis projects in residence that look at technology critically, explore and play within the limits and benefit from democratic participation and understand digital culture as a space of transformation. Our projects focus on issues such as the creation and musical collaboration of the federated social groups, the videojocs from the perspective of digital rights and the empowerment of the city and the critical capacity of young people and adolescents to the city. Projects residents
Tuna is a project based on a new joc for understanding music and approving the creation and musical understanding to more people, especially young people, through a play for smartphones.
Through this new musical instrument it is possible to create records of musical collaboration for different levels of knowledge. The objective is to expand the use of music among young people and musical creators of all ages with the objective of balancing the genre of the name of musical people who fight on stage and promote a feminist look.
Platòniq is a foundation that designs digital participation processes and facilitates innovative methodologies to help form more democratic and just societies and organizations through open civic technologies.
Since 2020 they have been part of the resident projects of the Canòdrom with different purposes and ideas. Now, they have a new project: Dialogues and hybrid deliberation ahead of the power of (dis)information. The objective is the democratic enhancement and the critical capacity of young people and adolescents through digital media literacy that allows them to reflect on the use of information, technologies and the impacts they have on the severe visions and projections on the future
ArsGames is a cultural association that seeks to promote and guarantee the access of people and people with non-heteronormative identities to the STEAM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics), from which they have traditionally been marginalized.
Starting from 2021, they are part of the resident projects of the Canòdrom, promoting projects of a cultural nature related to videojocs and new technologies based on art, pedagogy, training, scientific research, digital gender inclusion and citizen participation and culture lliure i open.
