Safety, Prevention and Coexistence

The route for the procession, which will roughly last from 10 am to 12.45 pm, is: Rocafort (opposite direction) – Tamarit (opposite direction) – Comte Borrell – Parlament – Rda. Sant Pau – Rda. Sant Antoni (side nearest the Llobregat, opposite direction) – Villarroel (opposite direction) – Floridablanca – Rda. Sant Antoni (side nearest the Besòs) – Pl. Universitat (side nearest the sea) – Pelai – La Rambla (side nearest the Llobregat, opposite direction) – Hospital – Maria Aurèlia Capmany – Riera Alta (opposite direction) – Rda. Sant Antoni (side nearest the Llobregat) – Manso, between Calàbria and Rocafort (end of procession).

The route to reach the disassembly point, from 12.45 pm to 1.30 pm, will roughly be as follows: Manso – Av. Paral·lel (side nearest the mountain) – Lleida – Av. Rius i Taulet – Guàrdia Urbana – Pl. Carles Buïgas (vial 6025) – Pl. Josep Puig i Cadafalch (disassembly point).

Traffic diversions will be in place, as will the necessary divisions to mark the route on road surfaces. Public transport will be able to access Pelai and private vehicles will be able to access parking in Bergara.

Besides planning and executing the operation, the City Police will be taking part in the procession with various mounted lancers, plus the police vehicles opening the procession and bringing up the rear.

Parking

From 10 am on 17 January to 2 pm the following day, motorcycle parking will not be allowed in Comte d’Urgell (side nearest the Besos), from Sant Antoni Abat to Rda. Sant Pau. A carpet of flowers will be created here to mark the bicentenary of the Tres Tombs de Sant Antoni.

Another parking restriction will be in place from 7 am to 3 pm on 18 January, in Riera Alta (side nearest the mountain) from Lluna to Pl. Maria Aurèlia Capmany (loading and unloading and the motorcycle parking area).

On the same Saturday it will not be possible to move vehicles from 9 am to 3 pm which are parked in:

• Manso-Viladomat, corner nearest the sea (side nearest the Llobregat) and mountains (both sides)
• Manso-Calàbria, side nearest the sea-Besòs
• Paral·lel (ascending side), from Manso to Vilamarí

Vehicles that remain parked in these streets despite the adopted measures and signage will be cordoned off, as will vehicles parked in any of the streets on the route where the procession will pass in the opposite direction to the usual traffic flow.

Public transport

The bus services to be diverted or have their routes limited, roughly from 10 am to 2 pm, are: D20, D50, H16, V9, V11, 13, 55, 59, 91, 120, 121 and 141.

Spectators are advised to get to the Tres Tombs route by metro, getting off at the stations of Sant Antoni (L2), Poble-sec (L3), Rocafort (L1), Urgell (L1), Universitat (L1/L2) or Catalunya (L1/L3).
