Support service for local residents' associations
The Service was created in 2008 for the comprehensive development of Local Residents' Associations, further empowering them and establishing them as associations capable of managing themselves appropriately, meet their own needs and manage any conflicts that may arise in relation to any matter.
The Service promotes a better coexistence and socio-relational network between local residents, the prevention and management of conflict, working on the relationship between local residents' associations and public spaces and on the links between the public and the public administration.
Among others, the SSCVB can carry out the following actions at community level:
- Provide support for the establishment of Owners' Associations.
- Provide support for the functional improvement of the community.
- Provide advice regarding specific matters and the relationship with the Administration.
- Conflict management and local residents' co-responsibility.
- Training courses for community management and the improvement of peaceful coexistence and civic behaviour.
