Disruptions to mobility for the Tres Tombs de Sant Andreu de Palomar

The traditional Tres Tombs de Sant Andreu de Palomar is being held on Sunday, 15 January, celebrating the neighbourhood’s agricultural past. The popular procession gets under way at 11.30 am, but activities start before that and will generate some disruptions to mobility.

Times:

10 am: Gathering at the Fabra i Coats site.

11.30 am: Procession.

12 noon: Blessing of animals in front of the church in Sant Andreu.

2.30 pm: Procession ends.

At this year’s procession you’ll find lancers from the City Police, bands, horses, riders and all sorts of carriages and carts. The route takes in the streets of Sant Adrià, Segre, Pg. Torras i Bages (as far as C/ Valentí Iglesias), returning along Pg. Torras i Bages, the streets of Segre and Virgili, Rambla de l’Onze de Setembre and Pg. Fabra i Puig. The Tres Tombs will be between the streets of Gran de Sant Andreu and Concepció Arenal.

All streets around the route will be closed to traffic during the procession, with restrictions also in place between the streets of Concepció Arenal and Gran de Sant Andreu, as well as between the streets of Gran de Sant Andreu and Virgili.

Vehicles will not be allowed to park on pavements or road surfaces in the following streets from 7 am to 3 pm on Sunday:

− Parellada, between Sant Narcís and Peronella.

− Rambla de Fabra i Puig (both sides), between Gran Sant Andreu and Concepció

Arenal.

− Rambla de Fabra i Puig (central section) with Concepció Arenal (motorbike parking).

− Sant Adrià, between Segre and the entrance to the Fabra i Coats site.

− Pg. Torres i Bages on the corner of Santa Marta (motorbike parking).

Bicing stations around the route for the procession will also be out of service.
