Call for tourism innovation grants now open to drive the transformation and digitalisation of Barcelona
Grants can be applied for as of now until 16th September.
From today, applications can be submitted for grants for tourism innovation projects. The deadline to apply for any of the three grant categories is 16th September.
On 29th July, the Official Bulletin of the Province of Barcelona published the call for grants to support tourism innovation projects and empower the city’s transformation and digitalisation. Grants can be applied for as of now until 16th September.
There are three grant categories: projects focused on the digitalisation of marketing, those involving the creation of digital tools and assets, and initiatives containing technology and sustainability.
This grant call is aimed at non-profit organisations, including associations, foundations, business organisations, as well as confederations and federations whose services related to the city’s visitor economy. The aim is to transform and modernise the tourism sector through sustainability and digitalisation.
These grants for boosting transformation and digitalisation are part of the Sustainable Tourism in Destinations Plan, which is also funded by the European Next Generation Funds.
