Do you know how to get the best out of your smartphone? Do you know all the advantages of your tablet? Do you know how all the software on your computer works? If you have ever asked yourself any of these questions, then these courses' activities will definitely be of interest to you.

Course 1. Getting started in ICT

If you are just getting started in the world of computers and mobile phones, this is the course for you. Here you will learn about the various kinds of devices and their components, how to store information, how to connect to the internet, initial concepts of digital photography, word processing and spreadsheet.

Course 2. Getting started on the Internet

Get started on the internet and learn how to browse securely. This course will teach you how to use the browsers on the different kinds of devices, how to search for information, what services are available on the internet, how email works and how to download information, as well learning all about the most important security aspects.

Course 3. Multimedia tools

What multimedia resources are there? Where can you find them? How can you manage the volume of information? This course will help you to discover how to get the best out of some multimedia tools, such as e-books and digital photography, video and audio, and how information is exchanged.

Course 4. Taking part in the internet

Do you know how to make the most of the professional resources the internet offers?
This course will help you to get the best out of the internet through features that encourage participation: blogs, social media networks, digital identity management, video-conferencing and instant messaging tools, geo-localisation resources and so on.

Course 5. Learning, sharing and working on the internet

The internet offers you endless possibilities for training and looking for work.
This course will teach you how to educate yourself on the internet: what tools you have available, the specialised self-study resources the internet offers you, how to manage and personalise your information and what is the best way to look for work online.

Course 6. Official business, services and shopping online

Is online shopping secure? Can I save money by shopping online? What official business can I do easily from home? This course will teach you how the new forms of e-consumption offer an easy and secure way to save time and money. We will also teach you how you can carry out some banking business online.

Resolve your questions

A practical workshop where we will help you to go over and practise what you have learnt from the Antenes Cibernàrium courses.

You will need a library card to enrol on any of these courses or workshops. Enrolments can be made online or in person at the library concerned and start at all the libraries on the 15th day of the previous month or on the 16th if the 15th day of that month falls on a Sunday.

You will have to produce a photocopy of your national ID (DNI) or foreign-resident tax ID (NIE) to enter the courses and workshops organised in collaboration with Cibernàrium.
