He will present his first non-fiction book in Barcelona on the afternoon of Sunday, April 9, and will also read an excerpt from it.

Cinema speculations (Reservoir Books / Columna) is an amalgam of film criticism, film theory, literary reporting and memoirs. Its author is the internationally famous filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, who in this way publishes his first non-fiction book. Tarantino will go on a tour to present his work, a tour that will stop in Barcelona, specifically at the Teatre Coliseum, on Sunday, April 9, an event entitled Cinema speculation in conversation, in which, in addition to the conversation, the author will read some excerpts from the book.

The director of films such as Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction will discuss key American films of the 1970s, which made a mark on him and which he first saw as a young cinephile. “With his vibrant imagination and dedication to a richly layered narrative, Tarantino offers an uncommon perspective on filmmaking that can only be offered by one of the greatest practitioners of this art of all time”, reports Last Tour, promoter of the event. In 2021, the American published his first novel, Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, which was translated into 31 languages and became an international bestseller.

The presentation of the book will start at 7 pm, and the doors will open an hour earlier. Tickets, priced between €82.50 and €94, are now on sale. The event will be in English.
