XXXII Seminar on Translation in Catalonia

The Associació d’Escriptors en Llengua Catalana (AELC) is organising the XXXII Seminar on Translation in Catalonia on Saturday 2 March. It will start at 9.30 am and will be held at the Ateneu Barcelonès. To attend, prior registration is required.

The title of this edition is El(s) benefici(s) del dubte (Benefit(s) of the doubt). According to the AELC, the seminar aims to be a unique space for debate due to the fact that it brings together translation professionals, professors and students from the following translation faculties: Universitat Jaume I of Castellón, Universitat de Vic, Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, which actively collaborate each year in defining the seminar’s programme, together with the AELC.

The seminar is supported by CEDRO, the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Institució de les Lletres Catalanes and the Institut de Cultura de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona, as well as the collaboration of the Ateneu Barcelonès.
