#SomESS In Barcelona we decide and make SSE
The Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) is already here in Barcelona! It is so plural and diverse that it allows people, organisations and enterprises not only to live with it but, increasingly, to live making it! Because the fact is the SSE is already at hand, in our neighbourhoods and districts, with products, services and activities that can be used for living and which show that the city is already making an economy for life.

#SomESS: Working Group 7, personal accounts of the SSE
This is the channel for showing that we are SSE, #SomESS. So we are following the Barcelona 2030 Social and Solidarity Economy Strategy. Reactivating and strengthening an economy for life in the city, which we are implementing with the help of a citywide project and a working group.
Thus Working Group 7 – We are SSE: Our own and shared account of the SSE (WG7) is a functioning workspace which includes the people responsible for communication from the entities that are the driving force behind the strategy:
La Febrerada: First Barcelona SSE Celebration and Gathering
La Febrerada, the first festive gathering to reflect on Barcelona’s social and solidarity economy (SSE), was held on 10 February. The goal was to generate a meeting space for various initiatives to share challenges and move forward in consolidating the SSE in a coordinated way, and, at the same time, show that this ecosystem is now a reality in the city.
The meeting was divided into two parts: a morning session for reflection and inspiration and a festive evening with shows and concerts.
