04/07/2023 - 11:30

Friday 7 July at 5:30 pm Activity recommended for people aged 5 and over.

On Friday 7 July at 5.30 pm, the Barcelona LGTBI Centre is hosting a storytelling session featuring the story “Liu”, as part of the programme of activities for “La ploma als carrers!”

Liu is a small person who likes walking upside down under the stars, swimming with their bottom sticking out of the water, coconut ice cream and riding a bike. Sometimes, in their day to day life, Liu struggles to understand grown-ups, because they ask lots of questions that Liu doesn’t understand and because they complicate matters too much.

“Liu” is a story written by Isa Sina, illustrated by Laura Gallofré and designed by Lidia Sardà, about sexual and gender diversity, which explores the magic of childhood and the world of possibilities that there are.

The storytelling session will be led by Isa Sinaauthor of Liu, storyteller and supporter of children and families through social education, and Gigi la Fox, actress, dancer, performer drag queen, artistic educator.

Friday, 7 July at 5:30 pm at the Barcelona LGTBI Centre, with free admission until venue capacity reached.
