The organisers have adapted the programme to the current Covid-19 situation.

Protest, showcasing organisations and activities for all types of public. A day of activities is being held on Passeig de Lluís Companys on Saturday, 4 September, which Barcelona Pride! aims to close this year's edition with, having started with a free concert at the Olympic Stadium, on 28 June. The organisers aimed to move most of the events to September, to safeguard the spirit of Pride! However, the current health crisis has been preventing festival activities or big music events.

For all these determining factors, Barcelona Pride! never stops. Continuing with this year’s theme, which put the emphasis on defending the rights of people living with HIV, several offerings have been prepared for every type of public.

The central section along Passeig de Lluís Companys is to become a traditional village from 11 am to 8 pm, where various associations from the city’s LGTBI movement will be coming together. This will also be the setting for Pride! Kids, various crafts workshops (from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm, and from 4.30 to 6.30 pm) for children and families.

And there will be book signings at the Antinous i Cómplices booth: Tres chicos buenos, by Pablo Wesling (12 noon to 2 pm); Mentre durin les espelmes, by Josep Rodríguez i Ferrer (6 to 7 pm), and Mi novio, un virus i la madre que me parió, written by Sebas Martín (7 to 8 pm). Meanwhile, ACATHI (Catalan Association for Integrating Homosexual, Bisexual and Transsexual Immigrants) will be organising a living library (4 pm to 7 pm).

Protest events will be held in the latter part of the evening. There will also be a static gathering at 7 pm, on Passeig de Lluís Companys, replacing the traditional Pride demonstration. The event will conclude at 7.30 pm, with a reading of the manifesto, under the slogan “United against HIV stigma. Undetectable = Untransmissible”.
