The LGBTI Centre resumes its on-site activity

We’ve been offering you support from home during lockdown and now it’s time to see each other again The LGBTI Centre re-opens with a new provisional timetable on Monday 15 June to provide services and face-to-face support, which will be combined with online and phone support from now on.

The facilities in C/ Borrell will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 10 am to 2 pm, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 4 pm to 8 pm. These opening hours may be changed in the coming weeks, depending on the recommendations issued by the health authorities.

Users must request an appointment to access the LGBTI Centre and make use of the services provided there by the centre and its resident entities.  You can get an appointment by calling 938 805 111 or by sending an email to info@centrelgtbibcn.org. It will also be obligatory to wear a face mask inside the building.

The cultural activity programme will continue to be offered exclusively online until further notice. You can find full information on the agenda on this website.

 

Resident entities also return

The implementation of this provisional timetable will also allow resident entities at the centre to start offering services in person again, keeping to the safety and hygiene measures established by the health authorities.

Gais Positius will be opening up their quick test service for HIV, syphilis and hepatitis C from Monday to Friday, 10 am to 2 pm, by appointment (932 980 642). The rest of the entity’s services will continue to be offered telematically for the moment.

For its part, the Observatori contra l’Homofòbia (OCH) is resuming its general advice and psycho-social support services. Their hours will be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 10 am to 2 pm. The Oficina de Denúncies, in contrast, will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 4 pm to 8 pm. In both cases users should request an appointment by mail to coordinacio@och.cat or by phone on 932 172 669 Urgent situations will be handled by phone on 699 901 651.

The Casal Lambda will be offering all its face-to-face support, mornings and afternoons, during the same opening hours as the LGBTI Centre. You can get an appointment by calling 933 195 550, sending a WhatsApp to 679 205 204 or sending an email to atencio@lambda.cat. These activities are detailed on the website lambda.cat/agenda

Finally, FLG – Associació de Famílies LGTBI will continue to offer advice and information talks telematically. They will attend to exceptional cases in person by request. Appointments can be made by calling 645 318 860 or via the mailbox familieslg@familieslg.org.
