Anyone wishing to visit the centre for free on Saturday for Museum Night must book in advance by sending an email to espaibombers@bcn.cat. The deadline for booking is Friday, 16 May. During the rest of the day the museum will be opening for the usual times, from 11 am to 3 pm and from 4 pm to 7 pm.

There will also be a fire engine on Saturday, with children able to climb aboard and discover it with firefighters.

Admission is free on Sunday and there’s no need to book in advance.

The Espain Bombers is a permanent exhibition space in the former fire station in Poble-sec, the only remaining historical fire station in Barcelona, offering information on the history and trajectory of the Barcelona Fire Service, with important pieces from the corps’ collection and interactive and audiovisual features that allow visitors to get a closer insight into the current mission of the city’s firefighters.

The Espai Bombers is one of 95 museum spaces in Barcelona and various metropolitan towns that are taking part in the initiative. To see the full list, check out the Museum Night website.

See you there!
