Participation in RootedCON’25 to promote digital security
Barcelona takes part in the cybersecurity event RootedCON’25
The IMI took part in RootedCON’25, one of the leading events in cybersecurity, with the head of the Directorate for Information Security Service, David Esteban, taking part in the round table on ProtAAPP.
Joined by experts from the governments of Aragon and La Rioja, and the Cybersecurity Agency for the Community of Madrid, and moderated by Miguel Ángel de Castro Simón (CrowdStrike), the session looked at the most critical security challenges facing the public administration.
The session offered a chance to share experiences and strategies on:
• Good practice and opportunities for improving AAPP cybersecurity.
• Internal barriers and how to overcome them to ensure efficient protection.
• Strategic projects in security implemented this year and future goals.
Through this participation, the IMI reaffirms its backing for innovation and security in the digital transformation of municipal services, consolidating it as an example in local administration.
