Every day, closer to you. Following the guidelines of the health authorities and Barcelona City Council, the Barcelona LGBTI Centre will be resuming its on-site programme of cultural activities from Monday 31 May.
The spaces in the LGBTI Centre will be operating at 50% capacity to guarantee social distancing. For this reason, all the activities will also be broadcast on-line via the YouTube channel. To attend an event in person, you will need to register in advance by sending an email to info@centrelgtbibcn.org. You will also need to wear a face mask.
The first event you can attend at the LGBTI Centre is the presentation of the book Bisexual resistence: Roadmaps for a liveable dissent, on 8 June. In contrast, the film sessions will continue to be held online, giving continuity to the current agreement between the LGBTI Centre and Cinemes Girona.
On the other hand, the exhibition “Lesbophobia. Patriarchal violence, what’s beyond the curtain” will continue to be freely accessible during the usual opening hours of the LGBTI Centre (Monday 4 pm to 8 pm, Tuesday to Friday, 10 am to 2 pm and 4 pm to 8 pm).
With regard to the assistance services offered by the LGBTI Centre, it is essential to book an appointment in order to access them.
The entities are ready
The resumption of on-site activities at the LGBTI Centre will also signal the return of many of the events run by resident entities. We recommend that you check their websites or social networks for more information.
