We rethink our notion of sexuality with Nodual+, Montse Garcia and Estela Murillo on Thursday 20 April at 6 pm, as part of the cycle “Our Bodies are Battlefields”.
How do we conceive the sexual practices of somebody with physical functional diversity? Their bodies are often treated as child-like, regarded as desexualised, non-erotic, incapable.
If visions of sexuality are limited to productive and reproductive aspects, and desire and pleasure are framed solely in relation to bodies presented as the only desirable ones, many people are excluded.
In this conversation, we will be talking about forms of pleasure and desire that broaden our horizons and challenge us to rethink our own notion of sexuality.
We’ll be broadening our outlook with Nodual+, activist in transfeminist alliances with people with functional diversity and performer; Montse Garcia, teacher, social educator, sexual assistant and activist; Estela Murillo, binary person, human rights activist, promoter of the empowerment of women with functional diversity.
