Uses of Time

One of the strategic lines of the 2021-2030 Library Master Plan is to facilitate access to library services. To this end, service hours have been adjusted as a measure to promote work-life balance for both users and library staff.

This measure proposes:

• Implementing work shifts that promote greater equity among all staff.
• Adjusting service hours to facilitate the work-life balance of employees.
• Bringing forward the schedule of afternoon activities to encourage participation by a greater diversity of users.
• Ensuring more inclusive and equitable access to library services.

Time impacts:

• Improved quality leisure and equity in educational and leisure activities.
• Promotion of social and cultural participation.
