Children's centres and municipal play centres

Facilities designed for recreation, socialising, leisure education, culture and inclusion, run by a team of specialised professionals. The aim is to guarantee children's right to play and their comprehensive development, encouraging active participation and involvement in the socio-cultural activities of their environment.

  • Children's centres offer children different programmes of guided activities, in groups and by area of interest, such as workshops, group work and play areas. They develop a socio-educational project based on the group and the activities.

  • Toy libraries offer children and their families the opportunity to enjoy age-appropriate games and toys, with guaranteed quality in terms of both educational value and safety. They develop a socio-educational project based on play and promote free play with educational intent.

Time impact:

  • Facilitation of work-life balance.
  • Reduction of unwanted loneliness and/or strengthening of social support networks.
