Extended Metro opening hours
The Barcelona Metro is extending its usual hours (5:00 a.m. to midnight) to facilitate mobility in Barcelona during periods of increased night-time use of the service.
Specifically, it will extend its closing time to 2:00 a.m. on Fridays and the eve of public holidays, and will remain open all night from Saturday to Sunday. It will also extend its service on specific holidays such as San Juan and La Merced.
Time impacts:
Reduced travel times and improved urban organisation.
