Flexibility, efficiency and co-responsibility
Flexible working hours
There is total flexibility in the start and end times of employees, always depending on the workload and trust between the staff and the company. There is hybrid teleworking (2 days a week in person) and it is possible to telework from any Glovo office. There is flexibility in holidays. For riders, the platform provides flexibility and rest (the last 10 minutes of every hour). For staff, financial support is given for cures or other extraordinary expenses, as well as for in vitro fertilisation or gender transition.
The corporate culture includes GAS as a value, focusing on efficiency. Annual performance appraisal is carried out, with a follow-up every 3 months, based on objectives and a competency profile. There is a "no meeting day" on Wednesdays. There is a communication protocol to improve efficiency. Talks are held to improve time management throughout the year.
Promotion of equality within the company.
Maternity and paternity are equal; 100% of the salary is paid, and during the first month, when you return to work partially, you continue to receive 100% of the salary. There is a nursery in the company and a baby room for breastfeeding. An Equality Plan is in place to ensure inclusive language. Talks on LGTBI issues and diversity are given by employees who explain their own experience, as well as by experts. Women's leadership in the company is encouraged through a 6-month mentoring programme. To encourage women to pursue more technological careers, the Women in Tech programme has been promoted, aimed at secondary schools (for girls aged 14 to 16).
Taking care of the health of working people
Healthy food is promoted, with discounts and free fruit. The company provides psychological support and therapy services, both individually and in groups. An instant medical consultation app is available. Yoga and weekly talks on mental, emotional, physical and social wellbeing are held.
Corporate social responsibility actions
There is a range of actions in different areas, for example to reduce the carbon footprint, free distribution for the third social sector (glovo access), development of skills for self-employment of couriers, with a job bank and support for preparing CVs. Also, there is corporate volunteering, so that employees deliver for free (glovo caras).

Mesures
-
Flexible working hours are those that do not establish a rigid working day. Through various formulas and within agreed limits, people can decide their starting and finishing times, compensate hours throughout the year and have more compact working hours.
-
Beyond work and family time, personal and social time is increasingly relevant. Organisations can contribute to promoting health and wellbeing, as well as social participation through corporate volunteering.
-
It is necessary to be aware of the regulations governing mandatory care measures. Based on these legal measures, it is possible to choose to adapt and improve them, moving towards gender co-responsibility.
