Uses of Time

The aim is to include the child care service in a generalized manner in the participatory events and processes of the Barcelona City Council, in order to facilitate citizen participation or use, as appropriate, through a child care service management protocol. This recommendation has been included in the deployment document of the Regulation for Participation in the operation and composition of Neighborhood Councils. This document has been presented to all districts of Barcelona so that its guidelines are gradually incorporated into the dynamics of Neighborhood Councils. It is offered in citywide participatory processes, and the districts offer the service in Neighborhood Councils, hearings, or processes (some districts have a budget to implement this service and others for inclusion).
