Alzheimer Catalunya Foundation
Alzheimer Catalunya Fundació is a non-profit organisation with more than 30 years of experience working to improve the quality of life of anyone affected by dementia.
The mission of the organisation is to provide guidance, support and visibility to the person with dementia and their environment. For this reason, they have established the following areas of work:
- Person and family area. They provide the affected person and their family with tools, resources and services to facilitate the management of the disease from both an emotional and informative point of view.
- Helping and protecting. Accompanying people with Alzheimer's and other dementias in complex situations.
- Training and consultancy. Promoting the training of professionals and non-professional carers by organising workshops, courses and other training activities aimed at encouraging innovation and improving good treatment of people over 65.
- Projects. Creation and management of specific projects aimed at improving the quality of life of the elderly based on the experience generated in our daily activity.
