AQU Catalunya - Agency for the Quality of the Catalan University System - is a small public entity created in 2003 (as a Consortium since 1996).
AQU Catalunya is the main instrument for promoting and evaluating quality in the Catalan university system. Its objective is the evaluation, accreditation, and certification of quality in the field of universities and higher education centers in Catalonia (teaching, faculty, centers, and services).
