Associació d’Homes Igualitaris (AHIGE Catalunya)
The Association of Equalitarian Men (AHIGE Catalonia) was registered in 2009 as a Catalan entity, although it remains linked to AHIGE (Association of Men for Gender Equality) at the national level, which was founded in Malaga in 2001.
The entity assumes its collective and personal responsibility in the face of discrimination and sexism, and therefore, the objectives it pursues are to promote real and effective equality between men and women in personal and social relationships, in legal, labor, family, educational, imaginary areas, etc., as well as to promote and support men's change towards more favorable positions for equality and breaking with the traditional masculine model.
In this sense, they are part of the Platform for equal and non-transferable paternity and maternity leave (PPIINA).
