Associació d'Organitzacions d'Empresàries del Mediterrani
The Association of Women Entrepreneurs' Organizations of the Mediterranean (AFAEMME) is a federation of businesswomen's associations that was created in 2002 in Barcelona and is currently composed of 63 member organizations from 24 Mediterranean countries.
From the organization, they work to promote equality in the workplace and improve the professional development of women, promote the development of relationships between companies and businesswomen, as well as promote international cooperation in the field of promoting equal opportunities between men and women.
AFAEMME is a coordinator of Euro-Mediterranean companies that promote gender equality and innovative research projects and also serves as a networking platform for businesswomen in the Mediterranean region and as a lobby to strengthen gender equality and facilitate women's access to decision-making positions in the economy.
