Banc del Temps Sarrià
The Sarrià Time Bank (Barcelona) is a community initiative for the exchange of time, skills, services, knowledge, relationships and free help among people residing in the neighborhood of Sarrià and is part of the network of Time Banks.
In this bank, time is deposited with the hour being the unit of value and currency of exchange. All services and activities that are offered or received have the same value, since the price is always the time it takes to perform them.
The Sarrià Time Bank offers services such as advice, health, accompaniment, reading, household tasks, DIY and/or minor repairs, computer repair, furniture restoration, hairdressing, language conversation, translations and/or corrections, classes, music, advertising, photography, transcription of documents, administrative procedures, and a tourist guide for the neighborhoods of Barcelona.
