Federación de Asociaciones de Colombianos en Catalunya
The Federation of Colombian Associations in Catalonia (FEDASCAT) is a non-profit organization created to welcome, make visible, help and enhance the Colombian community residing in Catalonia, and to articulate itself as a plural organization of transnational dialogue and shared learning for the realization of alternative migration policies.
It is also a space for meeting, dialogue and work for the strengthening of the associative fabric of the Colombian emigrant community, which fosters the necessary study, analysis and debate for the construction of comprehensive state migration policy proposals, with the aim of strengthening and creating the empowerment and responsiveness of local citizen organizations for the defense of emigrant interests in both origin and destination countries.
