PIMEC is the employers' association that represents micro, small and medium-sized companies, as well as self-employed individuals, in Catalonia. It has its origins in 1975 and is made up of individual members (companies and self-employed individuals) and collective members (guilds and associations of sectorial or territorial companies). It is defined as a multisectoral, independent and autonomous employers' confederation, separate from any third party organization, power or entity.
