40th Conference of the International Association for Time Use Research (IATUR)
The International Association for Time Use Research facilitates the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and data through statistics and research on daily activities and human behavior over time.
Among all the presentations, which can now be accessed through the link on the 40th IATUR Conference website, the interventions of the Barcelona City Council and the Government of Catalonia stood out, where they presented the most relevant programs in time policies in our country:
Dr. Sara Berbel, General Director of Barcelona Activa and Manager of Economic Policy and Local Development of the Barcelona City Council: The Time Strategy in Barcelona.
She presented the Time Pact of Barcelona, a city commitment for a healthier, more equal, and efficient organization of time, the NUST Business Network (Nuevos Usos Sociales del Tiempo) composed of 120 organizations exchanging innovative practices in time and work-life balance, the Barcelona Award for Innovative Companies in Conciliation and Time, and the Time Organization Mentoring Service, where companies with expertise and recognized experience in time organization provide their knowledge, experience, and support to other companies in the city that want to learn and progress in this field, voluntarily and personalized.
Alexis Serra, Coordinator for the Promotion of Working Hours Reform of the Government of Catalonia, and Fabian Mohedano, promoter of the Initiative for Working Hours Reform: Government of Catalonia: the pact for Working Hours Reform. They presented the Working Hours Reform Pact in Catalonia, signed by 109 entities and social and economic agents, including the Barcelona City Council, which will guide the direction of the Government of Catalonia towards the year 2025.
