Call for grants
General Call for Grants 2024 for district and city-wide projects, activities and services.
On 13 December 2023, the general call for grants was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona (BOPB). It aims to support district and city-wide projects, activities and services that promote and improve social cohesion; inclusion and diversity; community action and participation; cooperation; sustainability and the fight against climate change; citizens' rights; equality on grounds of gender, social class, age, national and/or ethnic origin, religion, functional diversity, sexual orientation and gender identity; among others.
This call comprises a total of 25 different areas, and the thematic area of Time Use includes activities whose purpose is to promote initiatives linked to the objectives of the Time Agreement, i.e. to promote a healthier, more equitable, efficient and sustainable organisation of time in order to build a Barcelona where time is an asset for everyone.
The projects can be:
- Projects that have an impact on the management of working time within organisations, linked to flexibility, reduction or compacting of working hours, teleworking, facilitating caregiving and shared responsibility, among others.
- Projects that have an impact on services or products aimed at users, clients or other people associated with the organisation, to facilitate their access in relation to time use.
- Projects involving training or awareness-raising activities for the general public - children and young people, families, elderly people, etc. - or other city organisations, to promote the harmonisation of the different times of life, shared responsibility and to raise awareness of good time management.
- Projects to carry out or share research work aimed at promoting the harmonisation of different times of life and a more equal, sustainable, resilient and healthy management of time.
- Projects to develop new methodologies or data use systems that contribute to a better understanding of the phenomena related to time use and management and its impacts.
- Other projects linked to the cornerstones of the Time Agreement: time and caregiving, time and participation, time and citizen services, time and sustainability, time and education, time and health and time and the work world.
