La Xarxa NUST participates in "Barcelona a l'hora".
On October 19, the annual meeting of the Time Pact took place under the name "Barcelona a l'hora" as a meeting place for Barcelona organizations to discuss the value of time.
"It is very enriching to have a network of trust because it allows you to listen to other measures, explain your own, learn about new trends and have new ideas to incorporate in our companies". This is how Ana Pérez Clemente d'Iterem, one of the companies of the Network's Motor Group, defined yesterday the benefits of belonging to the NUST Network.
The event was attended by the Councilor for Health, Old Age and Care of the Barcelona City Council, Gemma Tarafa, who spoke about the negative consequences that poor time management can have on health and some recently implemented measures such as the Caregiver Card, and by the manager of the Barcelona City Council, Sara Berbel, who reflected on the concepts of the right to time and time poverty and welcomed the new entities that have joined the Time Pact.
Then, several entities and companies gave their testimony about their actions and time management in relation to the different axes of the Pact, such as the axis of time and health, time and education, time and care for people, time and participation, and the axis of time and work for companies and organizations, where Iterem's participation as a member of the NUST Network was framed.
The meeting was introduced by journalist Romina Vallès and concluded with an interpretation of the poem "the fourth side of the triangle" by artist Adriana Bertran, who highlighted the importance of care, the masculinization of the workforce and the inequalities that have historically generated the eight-hour workday.
