Meeting of the Driving Group with the Commissioner for the Promotion of Employment and Policies against Job Precariousness, Mrs. Raquel Gil.
On Wednesday, June 29, a meeting of the NUST Network Motor Group was held with the participation of Ms. Raquel Gil, Commissioner for the Promotion of Employment and Policies against Job Precariousness.
The meeting focused on three areas: the Barcelona Agreement for Quality Employment 2021-2030, the proposed collaboration with the Business Leadership Observatory of Pompeu Fabra University and the work plan of the NUST Network.
The Commissioner presented the Barcelona Agreement for Quality Employment 2021-2030, the result of a participatory process and the compilation of lessons learned from the Barcelona Employment Strategy. The objective of this agreement is to establish one of the guiding principles to improve employment in the city, which is intended to be achieved through the decalogue it includes, which sets out the active policies and the action plan.
In reference to the collaboration with the Observatory of Leadership in Business of the UPF, the Network will participate in the research "Time management, a key factor in business productivity and personal well-being", which has been presented by the director of the Observatory, Silvia Cóppulo, at this meeting. The study, which aims to deepen the relationship between the implementation of new measures for the organization of working time, business productivity and personal well-being, will have two phases: personal interviews with the leaders of some companies of the NUST network and closed surveys to different people from each of the companies that want to collaborate.
Finally, in relation to the Network's work plan, the publication of the rules for the new edition of the Barcelona Award for innovative companies in the organization and use of time was announced, a meeting with the Economic and Social Councilor of Barcelona was agreed upon at the proposal of Commissioner Raquel Gil, and work continued on the workshops that the Network wishes to promote.
