Network Driving Group meets for the first time this year 2022
2022 has already begun for the NUST Network, which has resumed its activity this January 18 with the meeting of the Motor Group. The meeting, which took place in a virtual format, served to follow up on the 21-22 Work Plan, reflect on the celebration of the Network's 15 years and present an overview of Barcelona's time policies.
In reference to the first question, after taking stock, the reflection process of the 15 years of the Network, the participation in the 43rd IATUR Conference, the "Men in Care" workshop on responsible conciliation and the first call for participation in the mentoring program that the NUST Network wants to promote were highlighted.
Secondly, a reflection and subsequent proposal of projects and actions was made on the occasion of the celebration of the Network's 15th anniversary. The pandemic was highlighted as an unexpected driver of the policies of the time and the moment of opportunity in which the Network finds itself and it was concluded that it is necessary to reposition the NUST in this new scenario with a shared and motivating purpose for action, strengthen the capacities of influence and projection to have a more active, strategic and collaborative presence, consolidate itself as a framework for exchange and learning and manage the reputation associated with the Network, differentiating its role as a community of knowledge and the projection of those companies committed to this new work culture and that are benchmarks.
n addition, it was decided that these three objectives should be structured in three programs: Impact, to improve the Network's influencing capacity, internal organization, communication through networks and the involvement of people representing NUST around; Mentoring, with the agreement to space the editions and activate the fourth edition by the end of 2022; and Workshops, the themes of which were validated at this meeting.
It was also specified the participation of the members of the Motor Group would be in the plenary meetings of this same group, the purpose of which is to monitor the Work Plan and contrast and validate specific proposals, and in the promotion and development of some programs and activities of the Network, collaborating and advising the tasks of the technical secretariat. After opening the floor to the attendees, finally the last point of the meeting was addressed, where Emilia Pallàs reported that they are working together between the City Council and the Generalitat to assume the capital of the uses of time and promote European networks of cities interested in better time management.
He added that he wants to reinforce the Time Use Week in Barcelona and involve the NUST Network, encouraged companies to adhere to the Barcelona Declaration for Time Policies and explained the status of the Barcelona Award to the Innovative Company in Organizations and Uses of Time and reminded that the annual NUST Network Conference will be held at the award ceremony.
