The NUST Network at the General Meeting of the Citizen Agreement for an Inclusive Barcelona
The General Meeting of the Citizen Agreement for an Inclusive Barcelona was held on May 27th at the Nave Bostik - Space for the creation and dissemination of culture in Barcelona, a space chosen for its links with community action and the neighborhood of La Sagregra. During the meeting, a balance of the activity promoted from the agreement and carried out for the Networks that make it up during 2021 was made and the Work Plan for 2022 was presented. In addition, a space for reflection and debate on community action and social intervention was held.
Within the framework of the general balance of the 2021 Agreement, the various action networks presented their activities during this period. Noelia Palacios from Progress was in charge of the NUST Network. In her speech, Palacios presented some of the new projects of the NUST Network and insisted on the importance of improving the use of time and its social consequences: "The greater or lesser autonomy in the management of time is an important vector of inequality".
The Citizen Agreement, the space for participation and co-production between the Barcelona City Council and the institutions and organizations of the city that work for a more inclusive city and governance for the development of inclusion policies and the fight against inequalities, is made up of 13 other action networks, of which more than 600 entities and organizations are members.
