The NUST network participates in the act of closing Barcelona as the World Capital in Policies of Time
Last Thursday, March 23, in the Chronicle Hall of Barcelona City Council, the NUST Network participated in the closing ceremony of Barcelona as the World Capital in Time Policies.
During 2022, Barcelona has been the World Capital of Time Policies. A year where there have been meetings, trainings, talks and activities around weather policies, both with the entities and citizens of Barcelona, and with municipalities all over the world.
To close this year, the Barcelona City Council held the ceremony of completion and transfer of the Capital to the new municipality in the Chronicles room of the Consistory, with the presence of the Deputy Mayor, Laia Bonet, the Councilor for Commerce , Markets, Consumption, Interior and Finance, Montserrat Ballarín, the municipal manager, Sara Berbel, and the councilor of the city of Bolzano, Angelo Genaccaro.
The event included the symbolic transfer of the Capital to the next municipality that will host it, Bolzano, located in Italy, one of the pioneering Italian cities in the development of weather policies.
This event was attended by representatives and referents of the various actions and initiatives, which, like the NUST Network, specify the time policies promoted from Barcelona. Josep Maria Miranda from ACEFAT, a member of the NUST Network, gave a short speech explaining the functions of the Network, the main benefits it has for companies to promote changes in the organization of working time and the benefits which entails being part of the learning and exchange community of the Network. Among them, highlights the opportunities to learn about strategies and tools to improve organizations, meet and exchange experiences with people from very diverse organizations and be part of a movement in favor of a new, healthier, more equal, efficient and sustainable.
