The Time Pact at the Work-Life Balance Day in Tudela.
The II Pact for Work-Life, Family, and Personal Conciliation of the City Council of Tudela aims to promote collaboration between the administration and economic and social agents of the city to jointly address the challenges and needs of recognition and shared responsibility for household and care tasks in order to balance different life times.
During this session, Marisa Marqués, Councilor for Equality of the City Council of Tudela, highlighted the need to implement work-life balance measures to achieve beneficial results in companies, such as reducing absenteeism and increasing productivity.
Carme Carrera, Technician in Time and Care Economy Programs, presented the Pact for Time, a city commitment towards a healthier, more equal, and efficient time organization that encompasses actions from all stakeholders in the city to harmonize the different life times of individuals. She also introduced the NUST Network (New Social Uses of Time) and its evolution in improving time management and the conciliation of work, family, and personal life.
Oscar Bermejo, from Softmachine and a member company of the NUST Network, as well as the winner of the Barcelona Award for Innovative Companies in Conciliation and Time in 2015, also argued about the advantages of having conciliation and shared responsibility measures for employees of companies. Finally, a round table discussion on "Conciliation in the Company: Realities and Pending Challenges" took place, with the participation of Tudela companies such as Agenor, SKF, and TRENASA.
