Programme Q: Time and economy of care

Modalities:

Qa) Encourage, facilitate and promote actions for the reconciliation of care, family, work, personal and social time. City scope. 

That contribute to the objectives of the Time Pact, a city commitment for a healthier, more egalitarian and efficient organisation of time. 

Requirements: 

 

• Initiatives focused on facilitating the reconciliation of people's different times: care, family, work, personal and social time, with the creation and support of activities and services that provide support throughout their life cycle. 
• Development of measures or plans within organisations which promote, among other things, work-life balance and co-responsibility and new ways of organising time which are effective for men and women and which benefit both workers and organisations.

Qb) Promoting the Care Economy

Projects contributing to the main objectives of the Government Measure for a Democratisation of Care 2017-2020. 

The requirements: 

 

• That they raise awareness, train, promote innovative initiatives, create a network, on the subject of the care economy in Barcelona. 
• That they dignify paid and unpaid care work and/or make care the driving force of life. 
• Guarantee that care is not provided at the cost of someone else's rights. 
• Promote gender, social and community co-responsibility.
