The annual meeting of the Time Agreement is back with a debate on the impact of time use on individual and collective health
>> This year, under the title “Barcelona on time”, the annual meeting of the Time Agreement will take place on December 3, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., at the Sants-Montjuïc District Headquarters (Crès de la Creu Coberta, 104-106).
>> The meeting is planned as a day of reflection on time use from a health perspective. It will include a round table of experts and be complemented by the presentation of good practices by some member entities of the Time Agreement and the NUST Network—a network of companies for a new working time.
This event, as in previous editions, aims to encourage debate and participation by the city’s different entities around time policies, focusing, on this occasion, on the impact of time use on individual and collective health. It is open to member entities of the Time Agreement and those who want to learn about the project and are interested in attending.
The program of the day, which will be facilitated by the journalist Clara Sánchez Castro, will begin with a dialogue with:
- Raquel Gil, Councilor for Economic Promotion, Work, Feminisms and Democratic Memory of the Barcelona City Council
- Maria Rengel, Director of Feminisms and LGTBI of the Barcelona City Council.
Round table: Chronobiology, health and the configuration of cities
Next, three experts will debate the effects of chronobiology on our health and the configuration of our cities. From their field of study, they will explain how this misalignment affects people and what organisations and public entities can do to mitigate its negative effects. The participants will be:
- Sandra Giménez, Sleep Physician, Hospital Sant Pau.
- Dr. Camille Lassale, ISGlobal Researcher, Coordinator of the circadian health group.
- Imma Cortés, Head of the Health and Work Service of the Barcelona Public Health Agency (ASPB).
Workshop “Synchronizing Time”
In the second part of the meeting, the results of the Workshop “Synchronizing Time: Equity and Well-being in Time Management” will be presented, held on November 13. Representatives of the participating entities will present the conclusions and measures identified, as well as some good practices of the respective organisations.
Closing with artistic intervention
Finally, to keep an enjoyable format, the day will close with an artistic intervention, followed by a small snack to promote a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Other services
To facilitate everyone’s participation, a babysitting service will be offered throughout the meeting for those who request it in advance by email (up to 48 hours before the meeting).
Registration
To participate in the meeting, prior registration is required by email to: pactedeltemps@bcn.cat
