The hikers clubs of Gràcia and Sants
Some of the collections belong to hikers clubs, which gave rise to amateur photography, such as the Catalonia-Sants Hikers Union, with a collection of 5,581 photographs and names such as Joan Alonso, Joan Campañà, Albert Feliu, Joan Jané, Manuel Mellán, Enric Massana, Jaume Peris, Carme Pinén, Núria Trepat, and also the Hikers Club of Gràcia, with 4,084 photographs and names such as Antoni Avilés, Josep Barrillon, Josep Buch, Miquel Brasó, Juli Llacuna, Conxita Esparza, Eugeni Marigot, Pere Palau and Antònia Puig. The photographs show urban life in the districts of Sants and Gràcia from a social and every day perspective.
