A collaboration agreement signed with the Barcelona Graduate School of Economic will help the city attract the research activity of Nesta, a British organisation and global leader in innovation and public policy, through its Innovation Growth Lab.
The arrival of Nesta’s Innovation Growth Lab will also bring doctorands and research staff working on innovation and growth policies through experimental research to find new responses to the challenges of low productivity, and towards inclusive growth.
The lab is a global initiative involving governments and innovation agencies from various countries, representing an international network of researchers from some of the world’s finest universities, with collaboration from 26 countries.
The Barcelona Graduate School of Economics is a research and post-graduate training institution created through a joint initiative by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), along with the Institute for Economic Analysis (IAE-CSIC) and the Centre for International Economic Research (CREI).
