The Barcelona Fire Service will be presenting its ‘Joc de la Foca’ (Seal Game) at the Espai Bombers on Wednesday at 11 am. The initiative is aimed at children over the age of six, to help them learn about fire and risk prevention.
The game is for between two and six children, all of whom can win if they give correct answers to questions on self-protection measures and how to avoid household fires and risk situations around them.
A joint initiative by the Barcelona Fire Service and Solidarity Firefighters, the project enjoyed the collaboration of the renowned illustrator Pilarín Bayés, who drew the boxes and the question cards.
Joc de la Foca is also a solidarity game, as all money raised by sales will be used to buy toys for underprivileged children at risk of exclusion.
