The first of five information sessions on preventing domestic fires takes place at La Boqueria on 2 June. Four more sessions are to be held around different markets in the municipal network this month.
The PREvenim fire service vehicle will be set up from 10 am to 1 pm at the markets of La Boqueria (2 June), Barceloneta (3 June), Felip II (9 June), Guinardó (10 June) and Fort Pienc (17 June), to give people basic advice on preventing fires at home, such as how to act in the case of fire.
PREvenim is a specially designed vehicle in the Fire Service fleet, its role being to educate and inform people about domestic fires. Members of the public will be able to find full information with the help of technical staff from the corps and video screens.
