Safety and prevention. Barcelona International Community Day is being held tomorrow.

The City Police and the Barcelona Fire Service will have a stand to provide information for newly arrived people about the rules that make Barcelona a more liveable city. After eleven editions, this event has become consolidated as the leading meeting for the city’s ecosystem of international talent. The day includes a fair with 80 exhibitors offering products, services and initiatives for the international community, plus a programme with more than 60 activities.

The City Police and the Barcelona Fire Service will be offering people advice on public safety, mobility and risk prevention, and explaining what to do in the case of a fire. Ultimately, the corps will be explaining the rules that make Barcelona a more liveable and integrating city for people to enjoy.

Around the rest of the stands, visitors can find information on services linked to managing talent, legal and financial advice, insurance, medical services and more. Social and cultural organisations will also be present, public and private alike, offering products, services and initiatives to enjoy the city and become part of it. The education sector will also be present with stands from various schools offering international curriculums or qualifications.

The event is the main welcome space for international professionals who have recently arrived in the city, the leading meeting for all members of the international community who live and work in Barcelona and all those looking to connect. The initiative is promoted by Barcelona City Council through its Directorate for International Economic Promotion.

The meeting is being held at the Maritime Museum tomorrow, 28 September, from 10 am to 7 pm. Admission is free with registration in advance.
