The “Canvi de marxa” activity took place at the CaixaForum on Monday, 30 October, with 288 students from seven schools in the districts of Ciutat Vella, L’Eixample, Nou Barris and Sant Martí.
The activity represents a telephone conversation between two sisters, one of whom witnesses a traffic accident and explains the situation. The narrative alternates with information videos and real-life accounts from the emergency services who are first on the scene to manage accidents, as well as accounts from victims and relatives.
The goal is for young people between the ages of 14 and 18 to gain awareness about the causes and consequences of accidents and to foster responsible behaviour and self-protection among people in this age group.
“Canvi de marxa” is an educational activity promoted by the private non-profit foundation Mutual de Conductors, with the collaboration of the City Council.
