A new edition of the Employment Fair is being held on 4 and 5 October, where the City Police and the Barcelona Fire Service will be sharing a stand to explain their recruitment processes, the stages involved and the requisites which must be met.
The goal is to give interested parties an explanation of the vocational work options in the two corps and the range of professional paths offered according to training and personal goals. In the case of the Barcelona Fire Service, a new recruitment call will be announced soon.
The corps will also be taking part in the round table “Professional sectors with public jobs”, on 4 October at 10.30 am. This session will be outlining the job opportunities offered by the public sector, whether through competitive entrance exams and competitions, or as external staff. The session will also involve public companies and the City Council itself, which the two corps form part of.
Anybody wishing to get information and speak to somebody from the City Police or the Fire Service can do so on 4 and 5 October, from 9.30 am to 7 pm, in Hall 1 of the Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc site.
The goal of the Employment Fair is to provide guidance and support for people in search of jobs or a change of professional career, through over a hundred and ten activities geared towards information, advice, discovering occupations, preparing jobseeking processes and becoming familiar with the sectors with the most professional openings.
